Residential Extension: Large extensions and property modernisation

Status: Planning Approved 

Brief: These Oxfordshire based clients were keen to extend their home whilst also modernising the look of the property. Along with the side extension the property exterior is set to be modernised by the introduction of a gable roof to the dormer and glazing to tie in with extension's design, and the use of render.  At the point of planning approval, the new design was said to enhance the setting of the neighbouring Grade II listed building.

Extensions and alterations to the existing garage will provide additional storage for cars, a repositioned utility room, as well as a WC and sun room with sauna and steam room spa. 

 

Upstairs, the master bedroom benefits from a balcony with views of the garden and a walk on roof light looking down into the sun room and spiral wine cellar.  Alterations have also been made to the existing layout to provide a new bathroom and an en suite to the front bedroom.
