This being our first home renovation and extension, there was a lot of unknown for us, but Richard has been extremely supportive, professional and insightful, helped us guide through the process from design, planning, application, to locate a reliable contractor for the build.

There was an obstacle in our wish to have the whole ground floor into one open area, but Richard came up with some cost effective solutions to reach our goal.  We are really looking forward to the completion of our build and things might not go as smoothly without the help of MonkHouse Architect.

Richard has been absolutely fabulous throughout my extension planning.  He is very flexible, approachable and comes up with fantastic ideas that I would never have thought of.  He is so friendly and helpful and has a modern approach.  I was really impressed when I received plans that I could download on my computer and virtually walk around the extension!  All of this for a reasonable price.  I would highly recommend.

We used MonkHouse Architect for our recent loft conversion.

After working with Richard at a local firm for a previous ground floor extension, we really wanted to work with him again and hunted him out.

​

He is extremely personable and is great to work with (unlike a number of other architects we approached for the work).  He has been extremely diligent, has great communication and complete command of all aspects of the work which makes discussions really enjoyable.

 

For our loft conversion he was really innovative to ensure that the most was made of the space and that the stairs impacted the space on the first floor the least.  The pictures are on his Facebook page and we could not be happier with the end product.
